Jeffrey Yazwa - What to Take With You From High School

Jeffrey Yazwa is a professional currently working in the realm of education. He graduated from Penn State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education, and has enjoyed his teaching career ever since. Although he’s no longer teaching students, he is still working in the education field as an entrepreneur. He is currently in the process building a business called Advise & Guide LLC, which is designed to support high school students as they begin to transition to higher levels of education.

Jeffrey Yazwa understands that high school students can’t wait to get out, go to college, and start living life on their own. However, high school prepares you for what life will bring through out college and the rest of your life. Here are some things that all high school students should take with them as they graduate.

One of the most important skills you learn in high school that will last you through college is note taking. Taking notes will help you retain the material you learn in the classroom, and it will help you when it comes time to take exams.
In addition to note taking, make sure you learn how to pick out important information from your textbooks. Reading your textbooks in high school will help prepare you for the increase in reading material that you’ll have in college, and it’s important that you can pick out the most important points in a section.

Jeffrey Yazwa knows that high school can prepare you for the future, if you’re willing to work hard and prepare yourself.
